CCE Accredited Programs and Institutions must clearly state their accreditation status and public statements in accordance with CCE Policy 22, Program Integrity & Representation of Accreditation Status and CCE Policy 151, Service to the Public and Public Disclosure. (Reference: CCE Manual of Policies)
 
Parties who wish to submit third-party comment regarding any program/institution must do so in accordance with CCE Policy 68, Provision of Opportunity for Third-Party Comment Regarding Accreditation Decisions. (Reference: CCE Manual of Policies)
 
The directory specifically lists the most recent accreditation activity for each program to include the accreditation status, the bases and reasons about why the status has been awarded, any conditions imposed on the accreditation status, and upcoming dates for the next accreditation activities.  Furthermore, the directory lists student achievement data through hyperlinks to each program for review of program completion rates and licensing board success rates.

Progress Report (09/2022); Focused Site Visit (10/2022); Council actions:  At its January 2023 meeting, the Council continued the accreditation of the doctor of chiropractic degree program at CUKC.
Bases and reasons for decision: The Council reviewed all materials related to the progress review process, including the progress report, site team report, and the program’s response regarding the CCE Accreditation Standards (and applicable policies). CUKC has implemented an assessment system that ensures the achievement of each MCO by each student prior to graduation; and that utilizes mechanisms to track and analyze aggregate MCO data against the program-level performance targets established for each trimester with tracking, analysis, and utilization of aggregate MCO assessment data to inform program improvements. The Council determined the program provided the evidence requested by the Council in its February 2, 2022, letter and meets the standards for accreditation regarding the assessment of learning outcomes and curricular effectiveness (Standards, Section 2.H.2). The Council has removed the sanction of warning relating to the accreditation status of CUKC, with no further reporting required at this time

Bases and reasons for decision: The Council reviewed all materials related to the progress review process, to include the progress report, site team report, and the program’s response regarding the CCE Accreditation Standards (and applicable policies). LUCC demonstrated it employs best practices in the assessment of student achievement of the MCOs, verifies each student-intern’s achievement of the MCOs prior to graduation, and employs a multi-level quality assurance system that monitors the delivery of patient care consistent with applicable and accepted industry standards. The Council determined the program meets the standards for accreditation regarding assessment of learning outcomes and curricular effectiveness (Standards, Section 2.H.2) and quality patient care (Standards, Section 2.H.3). The Council has removed the sanction of warning relating to the accreditation status of LUCC, with no further reporting required at this time.

This indicates that the program has no deficiencies that compromise the overall program integrity. However, the Council will review the meta-competency outcomes achievement data for the first cohort of students, following their graduation in July 2022. This area of Assessment of Learning Outcomes and Curricular Effectiveness (Standards, Section 2.H.2) will be monitored through further reporting.
