The Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE) is seeking public comment on the Final Draft of the revised CCE Accreditation Standards & CCE Residency Accreditation Standards. The revisions in this draft were made based on a multitude of input from many sources, which include, recommendations from the Students Outcomes Workgroup; Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Workgroup; seven (7) separate subcommittees of the Standards Review Task Force; meetings with CCE Academy of Site Team Visitors, presentations at ACC/RAC and several informational meetings with a variety of academic, professional organizations, and other stakeholder groups by the Standards Review Task Force and Council representatives, to include greater emphasis on student outcomes and program quality assessment.
Therefore, the Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE) invites the submission of public comment to the “September 1, 2023 Proposed Revision” of the CCE Accreditation Standards and CCE Residency Accreditation Standards for review and action by the Council at its January 2024 Annual Meeting. All comments must be received through the provided survey link on the CCE website.
Public comments intended for consideration by the Council at the annual meeting must be received no later than 4:30 pm (PDT) on October 31, 2023 via the survey.
The number of additions, deletions, and moving content that occurred to create the Draft Standards documents were numerous, which may make the track changes version difficult to read. For this reason, a link to a clean version is also provided to assist the reader.
To assist the reader, a summary of revisions document and three brief podcast videos are provided below identifying proposed changes, including an explanation and/or the process utilized for the revisions. Also note, a tutorial podcast video to assist in submission of public comment is provided below.
